Located on the Kings Highway between Bungendore and Braidwood, Caroola Farm is a working permaculture and holistically managed small mixed farming enterprise. It is family run and owned and combines organic production of meat, fruit and vegetables with local training coursesthrough Permaculture eXchange.
At just over 100 acres, the farm is home to chickens, ducks, guinea fowl, sheep, cattle, pigs, alpacas, turkeys and a couple of Maremma dogs. The diversity of animal and plant life is part of the regeneration strategy of the farm to improve soils and biological activity.
Caroola Farm provides fresh local poultry managed sustainably and grown organically, they are in the process of organic certification and their produce is certified Humane Choice. They also provide fresh lamb, pork and beef seasonally along with a selection of fresh herbs and vegetables.
Apart from Braidwood Farmers market, Caroola Farm produce is available on-farm or locally through Food Lovers Market in Bungendore. Produce can also be found at local restaurants including Le Tres Bon in Bungendore.
